TARTARIA

A flow-state world of living light and sound for desktop and PC VR: half sound bath, half adventure, like lucid dreaming while awake. Real-time global illumination runs live in the headset, with a real day and night and weather. Keep crystal bee hives, play a pinball table that melts its sanctum into liquid light, ride whales between Atlantis and the lighthouse, and bring the rain that grows the world back. Nonviolent by design: nothing takes damage, and the world answers attention, not force.

How it is made

Tartaria is directed by one creative director, Kyle Piorkowski, with AI agents writing the code and tools under written rules. Every change is checked in the running engine, and he judges the look and the feel himself, in the headset and on the desktop. Every game frame on this site and in the trailer is rendered in real time in Unreal Engine; the bow and the harp are shown as studio renders of the game's own models. No AI-generated pictures are used.
